JOIN THE CEDARBURG POMS Dance Team!

The Cedarburg Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department is offering Pom Pom Dance Classes at 2 the Max Training! We started the program in September 2015 with 25 girls and are now enrolling again for the January through April 2016 session.

Cedarburg Poms teams perform at Cedarburg Recreation Department Basketball games and other venues. The spring season begins in January 11, 2016 and goes through April 15, 2016. 

Class schedule for the winter/spring 2016 session:

Grades K – 2…………….....Mondays, 5:30—6:15 pm

Grades 3—5………………...Tuesdays, 6:45—7:30 pm

Grades 3 – 5…................Wednesdays, 6:30—7:15 pm

Grades 6 –8 ………………...Wednesdays, 7:15—8:00 pm

COST per session (13-week program):  $125

*There will be no classes during the week of March 28—April 1, 2016. If you are registering your child late and she has missed more than two classes, the fee will be prorated. Participants will be required to buy a performance  t-shirt and/or hooded sweatshirt at an extra cost of approximately $15. Kids will also need black Yoga pants. Athletic shoes are fine and we’ll decide what we’d like to wear for performances.

COMING IN NOVEMBER:

The Cedarburg High School Dance Team's will hold an elementary and middle school clinic on Saturday, November 21. Participants will work with CHS dance team members to learn a routine to be performed the following Tuesday, November 24 during halftime at the 7:30 pm Boys' Varsity Basketball Game. Please print out the attached flyer and follow the directions on how to register! 

Your child is invited to join the Cedarburg High School Dance Team for a day of fun activities, teambuilding and dancing!! They will be learning a fun routine that they will be able to perform at real Cedarburg High School Varsity Basketball Game!  Children in grades Kindergarten through 8^th grade are invited to attend!

The event takes place on Saturday, November 21 from 12 – 4 pm in the Cedarburg High School Commons area near the Vintage gym and Cafeteria. The cost is $25 per child. If you are enrolling two children from the same family the cost is $40 total.  Please send your child in comfortable clothes, tennis shoes or dance shoes and if they have long hair please put it up in a ponytail. The Dance Team will provide snacks, water and a t-shirt the kids will wear to perform with the CHS Dance Team at the Tuesday, November 24, 2015 Varsity Basketball Game.  Please make checks out to the CHS Dance Team.  You can drop your check and enrollment form off at the CHS Athletic Department office or mail it to: Cedarburg High School Athletic Department, W68 N611 Evergreen Blvd, Cedarburg, WI 53012. (Please print out the information below and follow the above directions to enroll your child.)

CHS Dance Team Clinic, Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 / Game: Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015

I hereby release my child to dance at the CHS Dance Team Clinic on Saturday, November 21. 2015
and understand that the team is not responsible for any injury that may occur during the clinic.
I also understand there is a nonrefundable $25 fee for the clinic to cover the cost of each child’s
t-shirt to wear at the Varsity Basketball Game on Tuesday, November 24, 2015.  I realize this fee must be paid by Friday, November 13, 2015. If the payment is late the fee is the same but I understand my dancer will not receive a t-shirt for performing in the basketball game Tuesday, November 24, 2015.
